Mid Murray Community Support Service
The Mid Murray Community Support Service is situated in Mannum, on the River Murray. Mannum is a picturesque town and offers many activities to both local people and visitors.
Mid Murray Community Support Service offers help to all residents and visitors in the Mid Murray Council area, but most requests come from the southern part, extending over 70 kms from Mannum to Swan Reach.
The Support Service is funded by the district council and community donations. Its workers are volunteers from the community and the courses offered use the expertise of community members.
Chips (Community Help for the Isolated with Personal Support) is run in conjunction with the Support Service. co-ordinates volunteer helpers to assist people in their own homes, with travel and other help where needed.
